For any author who would like his/her book to be reviewed, contact me. Poetry books too are solicited for reviewing. However, there are some genres I tend to avoid. Feel free to ask me.

I must mention here that I read at my own pace and depending on my mood. Don't ask me to hurry.

I would have to agree. My answer is here

I've never even tried reading any of her work. I've never had the desire too lol.
Here is my Booking Through Thursday.
I've never read Woolf, either.
Here's my answer.
I know just what you mean. I didn't have any trouble with Orlando but small doses was the only way I could finish Mrs Dalloway. After that I'm not really inclined to try any of her others!
I wanted to love the book I reviewed today - The Queen of Palmyra - but only ended up liking it.
I have never read any of Virginia Woolf's writings. Thanks for the warning! LOL...
I have never read anything by her! Lowering my head in shame. But now I'm glad I haven't wasted my time!
Here's mine!

Oh! seconded! I didn't even think of her, because I only had to read A Room of One's Own for a class. I keep thinking I'll read Mrs. Dalloway... sometime, and then decide whether I can't stand Virginia Woolf.
Also, Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf terrified me when I saw it.
Here's mine
I haven't tried any Virgina Wolffe I don't think it will be my cup of tea.

I've had sort of the same experience with Virginia Woolf. The only ones I've really enjoyed are To the Lighthouse and Orlando(which I loved!). Most of her other works are just too hard to struggle through.
My BTT: Disappointment
I am not too familiar with Virginia Wolfe she is hard to get into. I did try reading A Room of Ones Own but never made it all the way.I don't believe it is the era she is from I am almost 50 and she was a selection in high school for reports for many years she is just a deep intellect I could never get into!
Interesting choice. I wonder. I have two of her books in my TBR pile.

I agree. Most classics of literature are like this.
