For any author who would like his/her book to be reviewed, contact me. Poetry books too are solicited for reviewing. However, there are some genres I tend to avoid. Feel free to ask me.

I must mention here that I read at my own pace and depending on my mood. Don't ask me to hurry.

I've never thought of using a phone! Generally though it's just whatever is lying around that's most convenient
no it is not gross.. i do that too. when i m in a hurry!
anything that stays and doesn't destroy the book is a bookmark!
my recent bookmark was reliance fresh bill!
I never used a comb or my cellphone, but if that's what's handy there's nothing wrong with that. I used to be more into collecting bookmarks. I'm not anymore. I use whatever I have.
I don't think that's gross! Maybe if you used a pair of old pants or something but not a cellphone lol.
I use any scrap of paper that's near at hand. I might use a comb in a pinch, but never thought of a cell phone before! (it would have to be pretty skinny).
Hey, whatever works!
Ah, you are good at getting creative! I always look for something that's paper. Not very imaginative...
Me too - I'll use most anything that's at hand. But I also have a few favorites that I use over and over. Haven't used my cellphone yet - it's a little too thick to fit in a book.
My cell phone would never fit in the middle of a book. Hahaha. Here's my mark!
I have used my cellphone when interrupted before anything other than folding the page is good.

I've finally gotten into the habit of using bookmarks, or receipts, or scraps of paper, instead of dog-earing pages. I'm improving.
Sometimes I use whatever is handy in a pinch too--although nothing that might hurt the pages.
I don't have any leather bookmarks but I really like the couple of metal ones that I have.
I use whatever's handy too...nail file, dollar bill, piece of gum or a gum wrapper. It's funny, too, because I have sooo many book marks. I'm trying to be better about using them as soon as I start the book, so then it's always there.
I love bookmarks - especially homemade ones :)
That's not gross at all. And as long as they don't wrinkle the pages, I'm all for it. ;)
comb and cellphone? wont that wrinkle the book or damage it somehow?
JUst like susan, I love bookmarks especially when I made it myself :)
I try to keep bookmarks around the house so I don't have to grab something that I should not use as a bookmark.
I would have never thought of a cell. Isn't that too big though?
I would never have thought of using a mobile phone! But there is nothing worse then losing your page, so if it works!
Hugsxxx
I'm late to the game, so without much ado, my BTT is HERE
