What books did you get for Christmas (or whichever holiday you may have celebrated last month). Do you usually ask for books on gift-giving occasions or do you prefer to buy them yourself?

Congrats on receiving at least one fantastic book! I love books and received a ton this year, which is not the norm. I have gcs for bookstores as well, which are burning holes in my wallet.
It sounds like your Santa did good! I got a cookbook and an amazon gift card.
