For any author who would like his/her book to be reviewed, contact me. Poetry books too are solicited for reviewing. However, there are some genres I tend to avoid. Feel free to ask me.

I must mention here that I read at my own pace and depending on my mood. Don't ask me to hurry.

Congrats on receiving at least one fantastic book! I love books and received a ton this year, which is not the norm. I have gcs for bookstores as well, which are burning holes in my wallet.
It sounds like your Santa did good! I got a cookbook and an amazon gift card.
I got a lot of books this year. I picked them out and had them held on reserve. Here is mine
I want The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. My list is under a different meme at The Crowded Leaf.
Oh, I LOVE getting books but this year I got surprisingly few. Here is my answer:

Did you not get any because your family doesn't like to get them? That's too bad. My family doesn't read much, but they indulge me.
FYI; For all 2009 WWII Reading Participants, the giveaways are up and ready for entrants.

That one's on my wish list, too. I didn't get any books as gifts this year either, so I had to buy my own!
Better late than never! I want to read this one too.
Like you, I very rarely receive books as gifts. I was a very lucky girl this Christmas though! Here is my BTT response.
I have that one next to my bed, I am waiting for the free moment. My BTT: http://www.rundpinne.com/2010/01/booking-through-thursday-my-first.html
I never ask for a specific book but I never turn down a gift card!!
