The Sunday Post/Sunday Salon: In a happy state of mind

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

It has been a good week so far. Although schools are closed I had to go to school for three hours daily to take extra classes. That ended on Jan, 08, 2014. Our schools will reopen on Jan 16, 2014. So I am kinda free now .

I have been going out to various places, enjoying the views, the sun and the company of friends. I am also catching up with all the pending work.

I finished 5 novels till date and on my 6th. I have read 11 novels from the start of 2014. I am grateful for all that life has to offer!

I posted the following on my blog:

Saturday Snapshot: Jan 11, 2014
Far to Go by Alison Pick
Dirty Little Secrets by Liliana Hart
Joining a few more 2014 Reading Challenges
Death, Taxes and Green Tea Ice Cream by Diane Kelly
Inspector Singh Investigates: A Calamitous Chinese Killing by Shamini Flint
Monday: Mailbox/What Am I reading?/Musing
2014 Reading Challenges: Too Many Too Many

Good luck with the reading challenges. I am trying to keep up with the book tours I scheduled for myself through mid March!

Just wanted to stop by to let you know that I signed up for the Deal Me In short story challenge you told me about. I've already read my first two cards/stories.
