The Sunday Post/Sunday Salon: Vacation over, back to the grind

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

My winter vacation is over. It felt good to be back to work. Waking up in the morning is a chore but being with the girls is fun, fun, fun!

I read 12 books in the first 12 days of January and now I am taking it a bit slow. I finished two more in the interim 5 days.

I wrote reviews of novels read in the last week of Dec 2013. I am yet to write some more pending reviews of 2013 but I am not really bothered about that.

I downloaded the following books for free:

Hand Me Down Evil (Hand Me Down Trilogy) by Allison James

I don't worry about posting reviews either, Gautami. I sometime write a few lines about the books on goodreads and that's it!

Happy beginning of school again!

I just do the best I can with reviews. I don't think I've written a five paragraph review in my entire life, and I'm not sure that I could if I had to.

I'm thinking about Guilty Pleasures in Reading in my Sunday Salon. I'd love to hear what you think.

I have a bunch of 2013 reviews still to write but I'm not too concerned about it either. I'll get to them when I get to them. :-) And mine are only long because I like to blather on. ::grin::

I still have a few reviews from last year yet to write, but I'm in no hurry. They were just some fill in books, so I can do them anytime though I'm going to try to write them soon.
