I start several books at a time, a poetry book, a crime fiction and other random ones

I am reading books I otherwise wouldn't have. It has helped find some great authors.

There are so many that come under favourite. Right now I can only recall The Likeness by Tana French and Stolen by Lucy Christopher.

I am happy to lend my books but expect those to be returned! But I don't really worry about that either. Books are for reading, and circulating!

WOW! This meme is pretty long. I totally agree with you on Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. I really felt cheated by that book and sadly my expectations are pretty low for the movie as well. And i love having tea when i read. Japanese Green Tea preferably : )
Half of your salary at the bookstore...now that would be fun! I remember that Koontz scared me so bad one time that I quit reading him for years! Now I listen to an audio every now and then and I can handle that.

I agree that blogging has changed my reading in that it has introduced me to new books/authors that I might not have looked at otherwise. I am particularly drawn to JLSHall's reviews -- we have similar taste.
Kathy and Jo-Jo, the day I spent half my monthly salary on books, my dad had a fit! He mad me promise that I won't do it again. I haven't!
Jo-Jo, Koontz does not scare me. Simply that I am not much enamoured by the genre he writes.
Bookventures, The ending of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows was a total let down.

I never read a Koontz that I know of. Well, I have to take that back, i've read "Bliss to You" by Trixie Koontz, dog, as told to Dean Koontz. Does that count?
I like tea when I read, if I have a snack.

I finally read a few of Dean Koontz's books (I actually just finished one) but I'm still not all that impressed with them. Love Brenda Joyce! It's been a years since I've read her though.

I’m intrigued Tana French's The Likeness but I was disappointed in her first book. I’m worried that her second book will go the same way.
I'm amazed that many book bloggers don't own an eReader! I recently acquired one for travel. I also don't read fantasy and sci-fi, as well as romance.
