TSS: Celebrating India's 64th Independence Day

Today we celebrate our 64th Independence Day. What you see here is a view from my terrace, where the oldest member unfurled our Tricolour in the Central Park of our apartment blocks. After sometime, there is a painting competition for the children.

What are my plans for the day? I will be out there looking at the children, painting. Those paintings will be displayed too. I will take pictures and post here. Suddenly I remembered I bought this Canon Camera two years back and have not used it much. I am not much of a photographer. But now I think I will remedy that. The least I can do is post pictures of what is going on around me.

Yesterday I finished Still Missing by Chevy Stevens. That has kind of stayed in my mind. My review will come up in the next couple of days. I have already started The Journey of Om by Chandru Bhojwani. I like the way it has started, and hope it lives upto my expectations.

As we see here, I celebrate my independence by doing what I love to do, watching over the kids and of course, reading. Not to forget listening to all those patriotic songs playing in the background. What else do I need?

I seem to have got over my depressive mood. I truly feel good and happy. Thanks to all of you, for your concern and support. I appreciate it.
