How do you feel about illustrations in your books? Graphs? Photos? Sketches?
I like maps in books. It makes the places more relevant for me. Sometimes I go back to the maps again and again to feel the places more closely.

I have to say, illustrations do not matter much to me.
I don't mind illustrations if they enhance the story.
I like illustrations in all kinds of books. But yes, I think they're especially important in most nonfiction books.
I believe everything has a time and place.
