I found only one word from a poetry book, Poetic Musings Of An Old Fat Man by Harry E. Gilleland, Jr.

Ersatz (Page 27): Much time is spent in worshipping this ersatz religion..

Being an imitation or a substitute, usually an inferior one; artificial.

I've seen ersatz plenty of times before and have never looked it up and I have to say I was surprised when I read the definition. I love the title of the book you found it in. Thanks for participating!
