Yesterday I finished the Millennium trilogy. The first two books I had read as soon as I started them. However, the third one, The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest took me while. I am on a reading slump and this is my 6th book since the beginning of September 2010. In the beginning of the year, I had planned to read 150 books in 2010 like in 2009 but I am not sure if I will touch 100 books although I have read 86 books till date. 14 more sound daunting with my reading slump. And I could read that number of books in a month!
Anyways, coming back to the third of the Millennium trilogy, I read it rather slowly but when the courtroom scene started, I couldn't put it down.

Parajunkee asks: Who are your favorite authors??
Too many to name!
Jennifer asks: "What are your feelings on losing followers? Have you ever stopped following a blog?"
It doesn't really matter much. I don't count my followers and I follow via google reader, not via google connect. And yes, I have stopped following many.

I'm kind of in a slump too of course i guess I'm always in one. Anyways I hope you get out of it. :)
Just hopping through:) I'm a new follower. Some of my favorite authors right now are Kelly Armstrong, Suzanne Collins, Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl. You can visit me at openbookemptycup.blogspot.com
Thanks=)
Don't worry about your goal of 150 books - take the pressure off of yourself and you'll get your reading mojo back.
Sorry about the slump.. About the follower question, I don't worry to much about followers, I choose to follow whatever blogs I want, and if someone choose's to follow mine I am pleased.
Some of my favorite authors are: Debbie Macomber, Barbara Delinsky, and Kristin Hannah, just to name a few.
'Happy Reading,' I hope soon.
I've been meaning to read the Millennium Trilogy. I've picked the first book up several times while browsing book stores but after reading the back I'm not convince I would enjoy it. However, part of me just wants to read it to see what all the hype is about.
I'm your newest follower from the hop. You can read my answers to this week's questions at Rabid Reads
Glad you finished The Hornet's Nest strong. I so wish for more of the story.
I notice that when I host a giveaway I gain and lose followers, other than that, I don't pay much attention.
I'm in a house cleaning slump! LOL Following you from Over 40! Have a great weekend!
Hi! This is the first time I've done a Book Blogger Hop. What a great idea. Reading slumps, writing slumps - I'm in them all at the moment. Is there a magic cure?

I really like your book archive! I also read many different types of books. I like romance, mystery, political, biography, cookbooks, curriculum....I guess most types of books. My name is Moira and I run the Brazen Broads Book Bash with my longtime friend, Alexandria. I will have to keep up on all the interesting books you are reading. Hope to see you at the Broads sometime. Good luck with your reading goal.
Happy Blog Hop Friday!
Love your site!

I had the same experience as you when I read "Girl With the Dragon Tattoo". I got to a certain point and had to read the rest in one sitting. However, I was very disturbed by the book, so I didn't read the rest of the trilogy.
I read many more books last year than I have read this year, too--nowhere near 150, but probably twice as many as this year. I just keep plugging away.

Have a great weekend! I never hear of a Blog Hop for Over 40. I'll have to check that out.
I've been in kind of a slump too. Right now I am reading two books and I don't like either of them. They are by famous authors, too!
I had expected to find you at the Literary Blog Hop this week. Perhaps you might like to stop by and visit some new blogs. Lots of great suggestions for reads.
Hope something clicks with you.
