BBAW: Do I drop from the sky or touch it?

Write in 50 words or less…what do you like best about your blog right now and where would you like your blog to be a year from now?

The best thing about my blog is that I get to review poetry books and showcase those too. (Also the fact that me being a poet helps the cause!) Another good thing is that I keep it uncluttered. I try to be fair in my reviews and try not to gush or trash any book. I think I am in a good place and aspire that I retain it. Also the fact that nothing else but my writing ought to attract readers!

Reading should never take a second place and may I get to read as much as I can. I want to keep the figure of 100+ books intact. This year I have already reached the goal. Let my blog achieve that and more in the coming year too.

So what are YOUR goals? Sit tight or take a bite?

I like. You've got my brain going. If I like how things are now, do they really need to change? Hmmm! I think its not only your writing that attracts but the fact that your personality shines through what you write. :)

I want to write about my reading and to read what others have written about reading. That's my simple goal.

Good goals. I was hoping to reach 75 books - I think I'll be lucky to hit 50 this year, so I am very happy for you on your 100+.

Good morning! Thanks for stopping by.

I've "practiced" 3 columns on other blogs and I lost ALL of my gadgets. I'm deathly afraid that I'll lose my followers now that I actually have some. :-)

Have a great day

Great post! It's definitely easing to get sucked into the whole blogging atmosphere and let your reading fall by the wayside. Obviously you don't have that problem if you've already reached your goal of 100 books this year!

It is impossible for me to sit still. Last year I fell just short of 100. This year, I've been busier than ever so I won't hit a hundred but that's okay. I read to connect and in the book blogging community there is another kind of connection that I value even more.

Enjoyed your post.

The poet in you comes out in all of your posts - reviews, commentary - all of them. I love that. You have definitely let yourself shine through your blog!

Congrats on your 100+ books! I have this same goal but I am at book 71. 71 is still more books than I have ever read in a year, but I am still going for that goal!

Well, my goals are to blog more about bookish things! And to read more :)

I've heard about your amazing reading abilities! I'm impressed! I've not even broken 50! And I agree -- you don't need fancy designs to attract and keep readers -- content and good writing should be king! Good for you for having the right priorities and here's to a wonderful upcoming year!
