Mondays: Mailbox/What Are You Reading/Musings

What book(s) are you most excited about right now?

Right now, I am not excited about any book. Mainly because I have not been reading anything. I had not even had time to check out books...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Mailbox Monday has moved over to  I'm Booking It for the month of March 2011.
I received nothing in the mailbox this week!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I had not been able to read anything due to census work. For the first time, a whole month passed without my finishing a single book.

1) The Elephant Tree by RD Ronald

2) Too Rich; Too Thin by Barbara DeShong

Census is an overwhelming task, but very IMPORTANT. I'm so glad I'm not involved this time.

I am seriously not going to buy any books or request review books (I hope, unless Shelf Awareness sends out something that I absolutely MUST have). The books are taking over here. I'm going to try for a no book week or two; I think it would help.

Isn't it surprising how much working more takes away from reading time? I'm going back to school in a couple of weeks, and I've been trying to cram as much reading in as possible before.

What a shame you've little time for reading just now. But I was just saying to a friend this morning that sometimes having to take a break means you come back to it with 'fresh eyes'. I hope this is the case for you

It is a sad week when no new books come in. I am guessing you are not lacking in reading material like most of us. Here is to a week of tackling the TBR pile.

Sending you book fairies so that you get some books next week :)

Census work cut into my reading last spring and summer. I finished more K to 3 books for my project, some short stories and at last, Kraken. Come see what I'm reading now.
