Top Ten Books That Make You Think

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted over at The Broke and the BookishEach week, we get a theme to list our top tens.

This week's Top Ten pick : Top Ten Books That Make You Think

Over the years, I have read too many books that have made me think. To list only ten is tough but here I go:

3) Tess of the D'Urbervilles by Thomas Hardy
4) The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood
5) The Feudal Lord by Tehmina Durrani
6) The Road by Cormac McCarthy
7) Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher
8) Roots by Alex Haley
9) The i Tetralogy by Mathias B. Freese
10) Cold Mountain by Charles Frazier

Love your list. I met Alex Haley a long time ago. Amazing man. I didn't think of Scarlet Letter--good choice.
