Empty Mailbox, Non-existent Reading, musings for a Monday!

Mailbox Monday was created by Marcia at A Girl and Her BooksStaci from Life in the Thumb  is hosting for the month of August.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? is hosted by Sheila of Book Journey.

I have not being soliciting or buying books. And to top it all, I am also refusing to receiving and reviewing novels.  I did participate in giveaways after a long time but won nothing!! No wonder, my mailbox is empty.

That suits me fine, I suppose, as I am not doing any reading either. No single book finished in the 31 days of July. I no longer care if I read or not....That is good or bad, I don't know.....

As a book blogger, does reading others’ blogs spark ideas for what to write on your own?

I usually do my own thing. But yes, memes and prompts are inspired by other blogs and do give me ideas when I want.

Book Blogger Hop/Follow me

Follow Friday, is hosted by ParaJunkee,  Book Blogger Hop, is hosted by Jennifer (Crazy-For-Books), and Follow Friday 40 and over is hosted by Java.

Jennifer asks us to "Highlight one book you have received this week (for review, from the library, purchased at the store, etc.) that you can’t wait to dig into!"

Well, I  did not receive anything this week, or bought or borrowed.

ParaJunkee asks as to "step away from books for a second and get personal. What T-Shirt slogan best describes you?"

Read and let read!!

Do feel free to explore my blog. You will definitely find something that interests you as I read wide range of genres, except maybe for a few. I also write poetry. You can read that on my other blog, rooted. Now go, explore both of my blogs! And follow them, if you like!! I follow blogs I like via Google Reader...

Enjoy!
