The Sunday Post/Sunday Salon: Weekly Reading Update

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

My reading is going great, despite the fact that March is a busy month academically. We gotta evaluate papers, tabulate results etc etc. I am doing all that and reading too. I have read two THICK crime fiction novels and two holocaust novels in the past week. And currently reading a suspense novel set in Victorian England. Hope to finish it before the day ends in a few hours.

Tomorrow it is Holi, festival of colours for Hindus. Not that I will go out but whoever visits will get homemade sweets and savouries. I made some and I bought some! Problem is, I am also eating those!

We are all on Election Duty, so training for that in mid week. My birthday is on 22nd March. I am yet to buy myself a gift!  I have three things planned, a tablet, a high end mobile phone and Diamond earrings. Mom is insisting I buy all three!! Let's see......

I downloaded the following for free:

I posted the following on my blog:

Happy Holi Festival.Oh I do love Indian Sweets, we do get them here in the UK in special shops and they are so yummy!
I admire anyone who can read thick books really fast - I'm not a very fast reader I have to say, I can only read about 1-2 average sized books a week. Have a great week and Happy Reading!
