How do you decide to read a book by an author you haven’t read before? What sort of recommendations count most highly in making that decision?
Mostly via book blogger's recommendations. Sometimes from some other review sites. I read a lot of poetry and crime fiction. Hence I am always on a look out for such books. Although I do pick up books on whim too...!!

I think this is one of main reasons why I don't have an e-reader--I'm sure I'd end up with hundreds of free downloads, but how do you manage to read them all?
I hope you've downloaded some gems!
Enjoy your books! Thanks for sharing.
Here's MY MONDAY MEMES POST and
MY WEBSITE
I picked up The Gingerbread Cookbook - there are a couple of recipes that may prove to be good gifts!
Sometimes I think about buying a book e-reader, but then I think about spending all that money on books I can hold and flip through.... So far, I'm enjoying the print versions. Although thee are some books I'm interested in that are only e-book versions. :( Maybe someday.
Come by and see what I've read. Rabid Reader
Enjoy you reading week. Happy Thanksgiving if you're a Thanksgiving follower. Otherwise, Happy Reading Week. :)

Gingerbread Cookbook sounds good... I am in a gingerbread mood....
I like to try new authors in the mystery, thriller genre and add to Wishlist from bloggers.
I hope there are some good reads in your freebies! Those cookbooks are tempting me. They look like good ones!
