For any author who would like his/her book to be reviewed, contact me. Poetry books too are solicited for reviewing. However, there are some genres I tend to avoid. Feel free to ask me.

I must mention here that I read at my own pace and depending on my mood. Don't ask me to hurry.

Hmm, Ayn Rand would figure in my largest books, but probably close to the biggest is also the entire Malazon series!
Of course, Robert Jordan writes tomes and tomes, averaging 800-1100 pages per book.
I think it was Stephen Kings It for me though I've read quite a few 1000 plus page books so not sure on that.
You have read some big books!
I really want to get hold of a copy of War and Peace this year. I think when I do it will be the longest book I've ever read.
I read Gone With The Wind, that was the biggest book I can remembering reading. I have read series of books back to back, which was quite a few pages.
Wow you've done some heavy reading. I think my heaviest reading was Musashi, 911pgs. Darn near killed my writs.
I want to read War and Peace -- one day :)
Gone With the Wind is one of the longest I've read, too. Probably the second biggest, after Bleak House. Both of those were extreme chunksters!
It's funny I've read some of the shorter works by Ayn Rand and Alexandre Dumas, but not the longer works. You have some great classics on your list.
War and Peace has me beat -- mine was the unabridged Les Miserables at 1,463 pages. I've read The Count Of Monte Christo but none of the others you mentioned.
I've read Ayn Rand's other big book - The Fountainhead, War and Peace, and Anna Karenina. Those were probably the heaviest in both content and length. I read them all for fun in the past ten years. I think of the three I liked War and Peace the best.
WOW...War and Peace is definately heavy. Here is my answer to this week's Booking Through Thursday.
I had Gone With the Wind in mind too but I don't have it myself so I wasn't sure if memory served me right. Here's my list: http://dawntreader-island2.blogspot.com/2011/01/booking-through-thursday-largest.html
here's mine http://tributebooksmama.blogspot.com/2011/01/booking-through-thursday_27.html
I haven't read any of the books you've listed... but boy they do seem longgg
Those are some great books! Lot's of pages too!
I loved The Count of Monte Cristo. I read gone with the Wind too, but I was in college and don't have a clear memory of it.
Wow I didn't realise The Count of Monte Christo was such a big book! Same with Atlas Shrugged. They're both on my TBR list though so it won't stop me from reading them...
Doesn't surprise me that you've included Crime and Punishment for content. It's pretty dense at times.
Mine are Les Miserables (1486) and House Divided (1536). I am currently attempting War and Peace. loved Gone with the Wind and I Know This Much to be True.
Gone With the Wind is one of my favorites.
Wow, that is an impressive list! My husband has been trying to get me to read The Count of Monte Cristo since we met...perhaps I should finally read it!
