Beautiful herbs. Would luv to try growing herbs. Not familiar with Shivalingam. Is that an herb too?

Tea, that metallic thing you see under the Basil plant is Shivalingam. You may know that as Lingam. We worship Lord Shiva in that form.

Do you have them in a cage because you neighbors will get them?

Thanks for introducing us to Shivalingam -- and your basil plant.

Annell: LOL! That is not a cage, that is a net, which covers the outside of one of our terraces. It is more to protect our plants from pigeons and squirrels.

Love having fresh herbs in the yard. I see you have to fence them off from the critters... I have that problem too.

Nice! My boyfriend has started growing basil on the windowsill. It's so lovely and fragrant!

I've always wanted to grow herbs, but so far I have always failed. Yours looks beautiful!
