For someone who teaches mathematics, poetry comes easy. There are so many aspects about myself that are unknown even to me. Poetry is way to explore myself. Where it will lead me, I don't know. I don't want to know. I thrive on the unknown.
For any author who would like his/her book to be reviewed, contact me. Poetry books too are solicited for reviewing. However, there are some genres I tend to avoid. Feel free to ask me.

I must mention here that I read at my own pace and depending on my mood. Don't ask me to hurry.
The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
The Week started with a sad note. One of our colleagues died in a road accident, along with her father in law and mother in law. On Monday, all of us got emotional and we visited her place. It was so heart rending looking at her two sons. They were totally lost. It was so devastating for us, more so for her family. The whole school was subdued for the next two days.
On Thursday, it was Raksha Bandhan, which is a big Hindu festival between brothers and sisters. I visited my brothers with Rakhi and sweets etc. I needed this to get my mind out of that state of shock. Life has to go on....
I did not do much reading in these days, although I got around to that in the next two days. I posted the following on my blog:
I finished the following "Trashy" e-books in July: (Where have the crime fiction novels gone?)
1) California Man by E C Seedy 2) A Regency Holiday by Allison Lane, Alicia Rasley, Lynn Kerstan, Rebecca Hagan Lee 3) A Lesson in Passion by Jennifer Connors 4) Ruthless by Cheryl Douglas 5) Twin Passions by Miriam Minger 6) Salt Bride by Lucinda Brant 7) Wild Irish by Jennifer Saints 8) Defiant Impostor by Miriam Minger 9) Suddenly A Bride by Cynthia Thomason 10) Double Trouble by Deborah Cook 11) The Ninth Step by Barbara Taylor Sissel 12) The Love of a Stranger by Anna Jeffrey

How sad for you. It's always difficult to lose people, but how much more so when you lose them unexpectedly.
