I took a vacation and was planning to come back to reading with a vengeance but it did not happen that way. I am still VERY VERY slow in my reading and now I do not worry about it any more. I am enjoying other stuff like lots of television and DIY. Is that bad?

My reading has taken a nose dive with my daughters wedding this coming Saturday! Some weeks and in this case months are like this.
I find that I go through phases like this, too--some weeks I read one book after another, and other times I just need to take a break. Once you're out of school and there's no more "required reading," I don't think there should be any rules when it comes to how much you do or don't read!
Once school starts up, my reading takes a nose dive. Oh well!

I am out of town and not getting too much reading done, but I am having fun. Went to a Hachette book event and received 9 books. The event was FABULOUS. I am still here visiting my son...heading home tomorrow.

I think we all go through stages like that, the important thing is to not stress about it :)
Enjoy your book! I have been on a reading frenzy, but part of that is motivated by the need to have posts ready to go while my parents are visiting for a couple weeks.
