You’ve just had a long, hard, exhausting day, and all you want to do is curl up with something light, fun, easy, fluffy, distracting, and entertaining. What book do you pick up?
I used to pick up romance novels on such days. Those provide mindless reading and the endings make one feel good. Now? I usually continue with what I am been reading. But I do think certain genres help in dispelling stress. Graphic novels are great outlets and so are authors, who write hilarious books. I love P G WODEHOUSE, any time!!!

I'm one of those people who leans toward light romance when I am tired or in a reading slump.
P.G. Wodehouse!!! I love him, chiefly because he was a major influence on one of my favorite authors, Douglas Adams. Good answer!
I can't get into PG's books. And my answer would be cozy mysteries.

I'm more of a cozy mystery reader. I haven't really explored graphic novels yet.
Ah, good suggestions. I tend to just go for the one I've got on my list at the moment. Too much movement causes confusion for my reading ADD!
I like a cozy mystery during those times.
Still haven't tried Wodehouse. Romances don't work for me like they used to but are still a must for me. I'm reading one now and it's just plain fun.
I have read 2 Wodehouse short stories and liked them both a lot-on my post today on his "Jeeves in the Springtime" I also post links to his controversial radio broadcasts for the Germans during WWII-
