Tuesdays: Teaser/Whereabouts

It is 1932. I am in Hollywood which is supposed to be on fire with sexy flappers, sultry vamps, and glamorous sirens. Gambling is rampant, drugs rule the roost. And an actress husband gets killed. Is it murder? Is is suicide. I am trying to find that out.

I got my hands around his throat and began to squeeze, determined to take the bastard down.

I've been reading a lot of pulp crime fiction (a la Donald E. Westlake/Richard Stark) lately. This sounds right up my alley.
