As I have been reading fairly easy books, I didn't find many words. Only one I didn't know. That too from The Secret Hour by Luanne Rice.
Stentorian (Page 295): "What," the Judge asked, his tone stentorian, "are you going to do about it?"
adj.
Extremely loud: a stentorian voice. See synonims at loud.

I knew it and like it - the word is sooo... loud :)
