Booking through Organization/From the Review Pile

How do you organize/store your books? Do you go through them often? Or do you pretty much just shelve them and then leave them alone until you need them?

I am not very organized about shelving my books. I keep my books very haphazardly. But I have a photographic memory. So I know where each one is shelved. That makes it easy for me to pick one that I want. But I mention here, I do keep my poetry books separate from the others.

Yes, I am a hoarder like any other book lover. But what has that got to do with shelving?!

    Ha-ha..love that you separated the "hoarding" issue from the organization....

    I sort of know where my books are, from memory; but I also alphabetize within each shelf of "read" books. Here's MY BTT POST

    At one time, my books were very well organized, but not anymore. I really need to take them all of the shelves and re-do my shelving system. It would be a huge job, though.

    I shelve my books and read them according to the mood I'm in. I am not a hoarder I give my books away after I've read them.

    I'm a hoarder as well, sometimes I just want to know I own a certain book and don't have to read it. I don't have a photographic memory, but I do know where all of my books are! My poetry books are randomly spread through my prose! Thanks for sharing :)

    My books are a bit unorganized now because I have more books then space. I am pretty good at remembering where I put my books. I also hoard books but I am going to be letting some go soon.

    Even though many of my review books are filed haphazardly, I do know where they are....but the poetry is shelved separately
