Booking Through Category

Of the books you own, what’s the biggest category/genre? Is this also the category that you actually read the most?

I own Crime Fiction the most, which covers everything under it. I also own a lot of classics along with poetry books. I read a mix of all of the above.

    I like crime and classics too. Mine are fairly evenly spread over several categories...

    I'm just developing a taste for crime novels, although I do sometimes prefer cozy mysteries where the violence is off-page.

    I read a lot of crime fiction but it is underrepresented in my bookshelves since I often borrow rather than buy it.

    It really wasn't easy to give an actual answer to this question, because I do read a lot of different genres, but the question was of the books I own, what's the biggest genre.. So as I looked over my books I realized it was cozy mysteries.

    I used to own more sci-fi than anything else, but literary fiction and young adult have been taking over in recent years.
