This week's Top Ten is: Top Ten Books I Feel As Though Everyone Has Read But Me
I am going to do it differently like I did last week. I am listing authors that have been read by almost everyone but I have not read as yet. And I don't think I will read them ever!!
1) Suzanne Collins
2) Stephenie Meyer
3) Dean Koontz
4) Phillipa Gregory
5) John Green
6) Harlan Coben
7) Jo Nesbo
8) Lauren Oliver
9) Rick Riordan
10) J R R Tolkiens
Rick Riordan is a big, fun favorite of mine. Tolkien is a must read.
ReplyDeleteMy post is Top Ten Books I Feel As Though Everyone Has Read But Me.
I haven't read any of them either really (well half of The Hobbit, but I don't think that is enough to count)
ReplyDeleteDon't feel too badly. Some, like me, haven't read some of these authors either and maybe won't!
ReplyDeleteof these I've only read books by Phillipa Gregory and Tolkien - both good.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't mind if you ever read The Hunger Game books or the Twilight books but no Dean Koontz?!!! Oh, you don't know what you're missing. Particularly the Odd Thomas books. :( Thanks for stopping by my blog.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Philipa Gregory...best left alone!
ReplyDeleteThanks for hopping by.... Musings of a Book Lover
I've read Stephanie Meyer and Harlan Coben but that's it.
ReplyDeleteDeanK, HarlanC and JoN, i'm shocked.
ReplyDeleteI hear Harlan C is a must. DeanK can be a hit or miss and Jo is on my TBR list.
Don't worry about not reading Twilight, you're not missing out on anything! Although The Host by Stephenie Meyer is a lot better, but I wouldn't highly recommend it to anyone!
ReplyDeleteBooks of Amber
Of your list, I've read Stephenie Meyer, Dean Koontz, Phillipa Gregory and Harlan Coben. Coben is one of my favorite authors. Koontz is hit or miss. I've only read one by Gregory (The Other Boleyn Girl) and I LOVED it, but I wasn't real fond of "Twilight" by Meyer.
ReplyDeleteI've read all of Rick Riordan's books - I think they're pretty fun to read!
ReplyDeleteTolkien, I worked my way through when I was younger, and I thought it was well worth it.
Definitely try to read some Gregory and Collins!
Thanks for stopping by :)
While I won't tell you to read Meyers, you've got some great ones on there not to discount!
ReplyDeleteIf I were going to read one from your list, I would read John Green and I would read Will Grayson, which is delightful.
ReplyDeleteCome check out my list at The Scarlet Letter.
I have read half the authors you listed. I would like to read the other half, especially Riordan. I have heard great things about his books.
ReplyDeleteMost of these list I have read I have felt the same way they do, but your list I have actually read some of the books. You really should try Tolkien. :)
ReplyDeleteOkay missy, Coben is a fave of mine and I think you will love him. I also htink you will like many of Koontz's books too.
