Have you ever finished a book and loved it so much you went right back and started re-reading it again?
I don't recall doing that in recent past. But I used to do that when I was in school. I have read Enid Blyton novels like that, going right back. I have done the same with Archie Comics, Phantom and Mandrake comics. Now there is no time to do that! I would rather read a new book!
Time is definitely a big issue for me. Since I read and review, reading a book twice does not really help me out. I do it if I want to, but I'm usually happier to recommend it to someone else and read it again later.
ReplyDeleteI agree, I like to move forward and read something new.
ReplyDeleteI do re-read favourites, but not usually immediately. The big exception in later years has been Harry Potter!
ReplyDeleteIf I like a book, I like to try the author's other books!
ReplyDeleteI don't think I've ever done that!
ReplyDeleteThere's really not enough time to do that.

I very rarely ever read a book twice now. I don't think I have ever re read a book the second I finished it either, even when I DID commonly re read!
ReplyDeletebut then Enid Blyton is sooo readable...how could they ever have thought that she was rubbish?!
ReplyDeleteYes, I used to do it all the time when I was a kid. Loved to read my comics over and over!
ReplyDeleteI think I may have done that as a child. Now, it just seems like there are too many books to re-read ever, much less immediately!
ReplyDeleteThis is the first time am hearing about the book. And i really like the book review shared here.Really enjoyed. The name of the book itself was interesting !!
ReplyDeleteI'm very. U h the same. Too many books so little time!
