  1. I could never live without reading! I've always loved it...Nancy Drew, The Little House on the Prairie books, James & The Giant Peach....I remember them all!

  2. Probably not, I think my brain would explode it if couldn't escape somewhere else. The most time I've ever gone without reading (that I can remember) is a couple of days.

  3. Live without reading? No. There are lots of things I'd give up before I could give up reading.

  4. Never! My life would be dull without books.

  5. I didn't realize I was a reader until after I was married. I guess I thought everyone was before that. My life wouldn't be complete without books.

  6. Being a reader 'suits me fine' as well ( I like how you put it) and I will always love a good book.

  7. I could not live without reading. I learned to read early and have always found joy and solace in books.

There is story my mom used to tell. I was about 18 months old, sitting in my crib holding a book and appearing as if I was reading. Of course the book was upside down:)

  8. No, books are as essential to be as food and air and coffee.

I'm hosting a giveaway on my Sunday Salon post today. I plan to give away two $10 gift cards to Amazon on Easter Sunday. I hope you will stop by and sign up!

  12. No m'am, no life without books! In fact, the first spring sun is creeping onto my balcony so I hope to be sitting there in a short while with my book ;)

The first book that really impressed me was The Incredible Journey by Sheila Burnford.
