Saturday Snapshot: Jan 11, 2014

After a long time, I am on my winter break. On Jan 10, 2014, that is yesterday, I decided to visit Dilli Haat, INA with my mom and a close friend. Dilli Haat is a market of sorts. Mostly handicrafts are available. This time I found the things quite pricey too. We hit the food stalls and that was it. However, I took a lot of pictures and sharing a few here.

  3. How fascinating to see an Indian market. I really like that blue pottery too- is the colour significant?

  4. Shopping is fun. Even if all you do is "look". Thanks for sharing the pictures.

  5. What a fun market! We have a place here in Portland called "Saturday Market" which is similar--mostly hand-crafted items, which tend to be a bit spendy. But it is fun enough to just go and "window shop!"

  9. These are so interesting! I'd love to visit India one day. I just finish reading Jhumpa Lahiri's The Lowland. Have you read it? She's one of my favourite writers.
