Monday: Mailbox/What Am I reading?/Musings

• Describe one of your reading habits.

I can't read lying down in bed. My dad discouraged that, saying it would strain our eyes. That feeling has persisted till date. I do sit on my bed, with a pillow on my back and read.

What do you think of books that give you recommended reading lists? Do you read them? Do you use their suggestions? Why/why not?

I used to read the recommended reading list given in the books when I was in college. That was more to do to enhance my knowledge in the field of study I was doing. 

Nowadays, I don't do it that religiously unless it is something I have to read. I am not much of a series reader. Having said that, I will add, it depends!!!

    I used to love reading in bed but can't do it anymore. Enjoy your new books!

    My favorite reading spot is a chaise on the back porch.The AC keeps the house too cool for comfort and if I crawl in bed then I end up napping rather than reading.

    I like reading in bed but I never do it long because I fall right to sleep. Enjoy your books and have a good week!

    I can't read face down on the bed - but mainly because the light is terrible! I read in bed a lot though!

    right now my TBR is swampped so i dont check rec list anymore.. but when i dont have anything else to read, i check rec list from fellow bloggers from time to time
