"In many respects, the war brought Martin things both good and bad. He found a deep love and respect for his comrades over the years. They learned to follow and look up to him."

Every Friday, Hilary of Feeling Beachie lists four statements with a blank for you to fill in on your own blogs
This week’s statements:
1. How is it possible that only few people like math?
2. When I get angry I get quiet.
3. I am not sure what I like best mangoes or bananas because I can eat both happily
4. I am happiest when I’m reading!
Well, if you dabble in the creative world it kind of is the opposite of maths. I used to like it at school, it was so... logical. Probably the reason I also like to code (html etc.) a little :)
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed the excerpt....and what a great cover!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog.
Yeah,I am not a math person. Love bananas and I almost said reading too but my family always wins out :)

I've always been more Arty than anything else, and I personally find maths to be rather tedious. My partner however loves it. I suppose it depends on the person really. And Mangos, definitely Mangos! Thank you for showing me the friday 56, it look like a lot of fun, I might give it a go next week :)
ReplyDeleteI get quiet too when I am angry
