Going pretty slow. Still reading The Runaway Jury by John Grisham. I am on page 172.

Had to do household work. Also been invited for lunch. Will be leaving for that in 2 hours time.

24 Hour Read-A-Thon: Hour 6..Book Spine poetry

  I gave up on Tinkers by Paul Harding after reading 17 pages. It was NOT holding my interest. Too slow and so so abstract!! Atleast I have finished a poetry book The Meaning Of Me by Emmett Wheatfall.

I started reading The Runaway Jury by John Grisham. I have read 27 pages. I made myself a cup of herbal tea. It is 11:40 PM here and I don't know how long I will hold on... I had a long siesta in the afternoon, so that ought to keep me awake for a while....

24 Hour Read-A-Thon: Hour 5..WHERE ARE THE CHEERLEADERS????????

I started late as had forgotten all about the Readathon. I finished reading a poetry book. The Meaning of Me by Emmett Wheatfall (Pages 95)

I will quote a poem from that:

And I smiled

This morning's sun
smiled upon my face,
wherein I awoke,
just in time to note,
the width of it,
deep the depth of it.

And I smiled.

Next I will read Tinkers by Paul Harding (Pages 191). I am staying away from crime Fiction which are easy to finish fast! I don't wish for easy way out!!

24 Hour Read-A-Thon: I forgot!

I forgot all about it! It is already 4 hours into it and so I need to catch up fast. I have not even set aside any books. What to do? What to do?

Booking Through Sports

1. Do you read books about sports?
2. How about AT sporting events? (Kid’s soccer practice?)

I used to read books on s[ports. Mostly Cricket as ours is a Cricket Crazy country. I read books on cricketers and also about the sports itself. Now I am NOT into it and hence stopped reading books on Cricket.

I used to play Basketball in school. I do watch it when it is played in my school with other teams. 

Recently I read Calico Joe by John Grisham. This is based on Baseball and I found it pretty interesting.
