Oh gosh, that does look very old.
We didn't have a banyan tree in our school. But we had a Tamarind tree and Peepal tree near our home in Chennai.
Our schools do the same thing around here and my stepdaughter really enjoys learning outdoors.
I am so intrigued by banyan trees. I hope to see one some day in person!
