What attracts you to a book blog? What puts you off in a book blog? Do you share personal stuff on your book blog?
Concise reviews attract me to a book blog. I also tend to gravitate towards blogs with similar genres that I read.
To much of clutter, glitter and music put me off. I do share personal stuff but not too much.
I hope your new books are all wonderful!
ReplyDeleteHope you enjoy all your new books.
ReplyDeleteI'm a fan of concise reviews too :) Enjoy the new books!
ReplyDeleteYou certainly are on a reading roll!
ReplyDeleteHere's my It's Monday! What Are You Reading?I hope you will stop by!
Music is also a pet peeve of mine. You had a great reading week!!! I hope you have another fantastic week.
ReplyDeleteA week with no new books in the mail? boo!
ReplyDeleteWe all seem to agree...cut the blog clutter!
ReplyDeleteI just received a reader for my birthday last month. I've been able to read some e-books that I've been putting off - much easier to read on a reader than at a desktop computer. :)
ReplyDeleteI hope you get some books soon - I have to wait for new books until a month after the school year starts (first paycheck and all)
Happy reading on the Net galley
My Monday Reading
I don't have a book blog, but if I did--it would be glitter and music free. I completely agree with you: keep it simple.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you, I like short and to the point reviews and no music. And I hate word verification I have trouble figuring out all those crazy words.
ReplyDeleteIt seems music is everyone's turn off. I think glitter is pretty though.
ReplyDeleteHere's mine: http://fiktishuhs.blogspot.com/2012/08/musing-monday.html
I like blogs that have similar readings tastes too. Great minds think like :)
ReplyDeleteHappy reading this week!!!
Check out what I'm reading and enter for a giveaway!
Luckily I never have speakers on or colume on so I never hear the music but I can imagine. I hate clutter too. here's my Musing
ReplyDeleteEnjoy! your reading week.

Great on NetGalley.
ReplyDeleteGreat you were able to have them for a treat.
Sounds like you are quite busy reading, though.
