Rain would be a welcome visitor here in New England; it always gets very dry and windy at this stage of the summer. We tote buckets and watering cans to our vegetable gardens and flowers and still they begin to wilt a bit.
In the heat, I've been reading and writing more than usual ... you too?
We've had a lot of rain here the last few days -- well, afternoon/overnight thunderstorms anyway. And love the picture of those books -- I always love seeing other people's shelves!
Love your bookshelves! I'd gladly take any extra rain you all have. We've finally gotten a bit here in Indiana, but we're still way behind on what we need.
We're finally getting some rain today as well. I used to double stack my bookshelves, now I use it as an excuse to buy more bookshelves! Thanks for stopping by mymsnapshot.
We could use some rain over here. I love looking at other bloggers book shelves. Yours look similar to some that we have (ours aren't triple stacked though!).
I love seeing your book shelves. We had too much rain here too recently - and more is on the way.

I love to reorganize my books on rainy days. It is always fun to see another bloggers bookshelves.
ReplyDeleteRain is the perfect reading weather!
ReplyDeleteThe rain looks lovely and there is no better weather to read in!

ReplyDeleteTriple stacked books? I would forget what was behind the front stack! :-)
ReplyDeleteLots and lots of rain here recently, but there's been some sunshine today! The book shelves are great. My Snapshot is at http://goo.gl/qCafm
ReplyDeleteBest way to ignore the rain. Disappear in to a good book! ;)

ReplyDeleteHere's my Snapshot.
I'm always fascinated by other people's bookshelves. I wish I had nice doors on mine like yours...
ReplyDeleteRain and books definitely go well together (provided the books are indoors). :) My shelves are stacked like that too.
ReplyDeleteI love photos of people's bookshelves! Mine are over flowing too!

ReplyDeleteThe shot of rain leads perfectly to the bookshelves, since reading is great on a rainy day. Love the shelves!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog.
I love reading on rainy days! Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteWe have enough rain too, and it's cold. Love your triple stacked bookshelves, looks very familiar.
ReplyDeleteThat looks such a lot of rain, and such a lot of books.
ReplyDeleteWe could certainly use some of this rain right now - both for the crops and for my reading ;-)
ReplyDeleteI wish we could get some rain! It does mean some inside reading, though. I could use both.
ReplyDeleteI hope the rains are helpful. I love a rainy day when I can curl up with a good book and I'd love to have those shelves full of books to choose from.

ReplyDeleteWe had a lot of rain her recently too. I love seeing the pictures of your bookshelves too. :)
ReplyDeleteRain is always good for curling up with a book. I sense a poem though in the contrast between the two photos. Thanks for sharing.
