Mondays: Mailbox/What Are You Reading?/Musings

Mailbox Monday was created by Marcia at A Girl and Her Books. Serena of Savvy Verse & Wit is hosting for the month of October. This week too, I did get two books and also downloaded free kindle editions from Amazon. You can check those out for NOOK too. Have fun looking out for interesting titles at Pixel of Ink. (I have subscribed it on my Google Reader). 

I downloaded 36 free e-books from Amazon. Most are mysteries, with a cook book thrown in! I will mention only free e-book one here. Do check it out:

Do you listen to audiobooks? Why, or why not?

No, for the simple reason being I never tried..!! Maybe I should.

    I do like audio books a lot. I always have one going in my car and also one one my iPod sometimes as well. It allows me to do house work and listen :)

    I go crazy with those freebies too. I figure once I have them they are mine forever; they take up no space on the shelf,and if I want them a month from now and haven't grabbed them, then I have to pay. I have over 200 books in my "free and unread" folder

    I haven't tried audio books, either. I think I would be too easily distracted, and it's also hard to go back and check what you missed.

    I can't resist the freebies either, although there aren't as many for Nook as Kindle. My mind waners when I listen to audio books. Have a wonderful week, Gautami, and happy reading!

    Thirty-six books! That'll keep you busy for a while!

    I've only listened to one audio book - The Help by Kathryn Stockett. It was amazing. I bought the paper version because I liked the audio so much.
