Top Ten Mean Girls In Books

7) Madam Defarge in A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens
8) Mrs. Reed in Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte
9) Nurse Ratchett in One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest by Ken Kesey
10) The Ugly Stepsisters in Cinderella

  4. Umbridge for sure! My first thought was Aunt Norris in Mansfield Park. She was just awful.

    I'd have put Becky Sharp on my list had I read the book, but I have only seen the latest TV mini-series and I don't know how well that follows the book.
    I did have your nos. 3, 4 and 5 on my list.
