Every Friday, join the Follow Friday, hosted byParaJunkee and Book Blogger Hop, hosted byJennifer (Crazy-For-Books), and follow/hop to some new blogs.
Jennifer asks this week: Do you judge a book by its cover?
Sometimes I do. Not always. Most of the times, I read the book blurb and then decide to buy a book.
ParaJunkee asks: What is your favorite brick and mortar bookstore?
hat is your favorite brick and mortar bookstore?
Crossword. They have chain of stores in most major cities in India. I love going there.
BTW, I found quite a few good eclectic blogs via blog hopping/follow me. I have added those to my google reader. That's the way I follow blogs. Feel free to explore my blog.

Book Beginnings on Friday is hosted by Becky at Page Turners. Share the opening sentence of your current read, making sure that you include the title and author so others know what you're reading.
Here I share the two opening sentences of The Twisted Path Home by Fae Bidgoli.
It is spring of 1886 in the remote village of Golabad in Persia. Roosters announce the beginnings of another day with their raucous wake-up song.

foun you through the hop, I really like the Kafka quote at the top of your page. I like books that wound, that stick with you, that you have to recover from.
ReplyDeleteon a lighter note, I'm usually pretty guilty of judging books by their covers, but this has bit me in the butt enough times that I'm actively trying to not do it!
