Dewey's 24 Hour Read-a-thon: The Start

Starting the Dewey's 24-hour Readathon with a cup of tea and The Brutal Telling by Louise Penny (Pages 372), in a few minutes time. And why not? A mystery novel can only add to the pace! Wish me luck, Folks.

See you all in three-four hours' time.

Best of luck to you! You are the only one I've seen who is starting with tea and not coffee and a pile of snacks! I read a Brutal Telling; it's a great choice for today!

Morning! I started with a banana, granola bar and a bottle of water but soon moved onto a cola.

Will you be reviewing what you read? Not today, mind you, but later?

Traditional read-a-thon blessing:

May the bookshelf be there to greet you.
May all the books appeal.
May the fridge be full of tasty snacks;
the words fall soft upon your eyes and until the read-a-thon ends,
may you always hold a book in the palm of your hand.

Good luck today!

Louise here, from Copenhagen, Denmark. The Read-a-Thon began for me at 2 PM, since 5 AM Pacific Time means 2 PM Copenhagen Time ;) I hope to be able to hang around for many more hours... I am not reading though, but having a lot of fun working my way through a lot of great blogs to cheer. GO! GO! GO!
